Hello YO members in ACT and fellow ACT optometry colleagues, welcome to our first FREE YO event!
Unsure of what to do when a patient presents with new-onset double vision? Getting flustered when you see a new-onset unilateral ptosis?
Join us in our first Canberra event on Ocular Emergencies & Cranial Nerve Palsies with guest speaker Dr. Parth Shah.
In this session, Dr. Shah will aid us in difficult clinical questions and management relating to various ocular emergencies including blunt globe trauma, sudden onset diplopia and vision loss. With abundant experience in managing complex ocular emergencies in various public hospitals as well as private clinics, this is an event you would not want to miss.
Dr. Shah is an experienced ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery, strabismus, and paediatric ophthalmology. Dr Shah trained at both the Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. His goal is to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients through evidence based practice, cutting-edge technology and a commitment to continuous surgical audit and improvement.
