Wanting to boost your clinical skills when it comes to the anterior eye? Wanting to get more confident in corneal foreign body removal?

Calling all regional members, we listened and have dedicated to bring this event to you! We are bringing our much anticipated corneal foreign body removal workshop to Newcastle for 2024! In collaboration with Nexus Hospitals, we are fortunate to have ophthalmologist Dr. Ravi Singh lead us in a clinical skills night with a focus on foreign body removal.

Dr Ravi Singh is an experienced ophthalmologist who specialises in cornea, cataract and laser refractive surgery. He completed his ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital and further advanced training in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery in London, UK. He has extensive experience in the management of cataract surgery, cornea transplant surgery, laser refractive surgery and oculoplastic surgery involving cosmetic eyelid surgery, lacrimal surgery and pterygium surgery. Read more of his bio here

The night will be composed of a presentation of interesting anterior segment cases, foreign bodies and removal technique by Dr. Ravi Singh! Followed by clinical sessions where you will get hands-on experience in foreign body removal, with the guidance of Dr. Singh.

This is not an event you want to miss - we hope the casual atmosphere will empower you to not only build on your clinical skills but to network with your fellow colleagues and Nexus Hospital's local ophthalmologists.

CPD hours have been approved for 1T (0.5Ti). A certificate of attendance will be provided at the conclusion of the event.
